YOGANTAHKARANA: HOW IT CAME ABOUT AND WHAT IT IS

With two decades of experience as a dedicated Yoga teacher, I have had the privilege of working with tens of thousands of diverse bodies, each with their unique needs and challenges.
This extensive journey has allowed me to refine the mechanics of Yoga and carefully select techniques that cater to the individual requirements of my students.
Through years of practice, observation, and adaptation, I have developed a method that people can truly find beneficial in the long run.

My passion for Yoga extends far beyond the physical aspect. I believe in the transformative power of this ancient discipline, not only for the body but also for the mind and spirit. Throughout my teaching career, I have witnessed countless individuals experience profound positive changes in their lives through consistent and mindful practice.

A persistent issue with mainstream, fancy, and highly publicized Yoga practices is that there is too little awareness or consideration for real bodies.
Instead, the tendency is to emphasize instructions for an ideal body, a privilege not enjoyed by many. Numerous popular movements, transitions and poses are 'taught' in a manner that is not beneficial for most individuals and, in many cases, can be detrimental.


However, these are the 'perfect' bodies that are often showcased in the media, perpetuating a distorted perception of what Yoga truly entails. This portrayal leads many to believe that in order to be good at Yoga, they must be able to contort their bodies into specific shapes, preferably in an acrobatic or extreme manner. This misguided notion disregards the true essence of Yoga, which focuses on cultivating mindfulness, inner balance, and connection between mind, body, and spirit.

What sets my approach apart is a deep understanding of the human body and its potential for growth and healing. I have dedicated significant effort to refining my understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and therapeutic practices, allowing me to guide my students in a safe and effective manner.
By combining this knowledge with my intuition and method, I create an environment where individuals feel empowered to explore their bodies, understand their limitations, and transcend them. I create a space where individuals can cultivate strength, flexibility, and balance not just on the mat, but also in their daily lives.

In today's fast-paced world, finding the time and availability for in-person classes can be challenging, not to mention that for many people it is physically impossible.
That's why I have developed videos that provide a comprehensive and immersive experience, allowing you to practice anytime and anywhere, completely unsupervised and in a remarkably cost-effective way.

Another common aspect found in in-person classes nowadays is that the practice tends to be rushed, allowing only a brief moment to relax, often after what feels like a workout.
This approach is not ideal and does not align with the true intention of Yoga.
Needless to say, you won't find that here.

Drawing upon my extensive background, one of the important aspects of my videos is the focus on modifications and variations. I recognize that every body is unique, with its own set of strengths, limitations, and specific requirements.
In the process of engaging their bodies, practitioners are skillfully guided to discover their current state and the potential direction they can take, all while embracing a patient approach.
